Jackobian Author Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

• Be a student or graduate of a recognized higher education institution.
• Provide truthful and accurate information at registration and throughout your use.
• Avoid falsifying records, impersonation, or misleading data violations may lead to termination and legal consequences.

2. Profile Requirements

Your profile must be fully completed including academic qualifications and banking details before uploading or monetizing content.

Incomplete profiles will be restricted from publishing or selling materials.

3. Ownership and Usage of Content

• You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights of your uploaded content.
• By uploading, you grant Jackobian and CerebroHive a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, promote, and feature your content for educational and marketing purposes.
• This license does not transfer ownership and can be revoked upon account deletion (subject to removal timelines).

4. Author Independence

Authors are independent contributors — not employees of Jackobian or CerebroHive. You are responsible for your tax obligations based on your earnings.

5. Payments and Commission

• Jackobian charges a 30% commission on all sales.
• Earnings (after commission) are credited to your Author Wallet.
• Withdrawals are subject to minimum thresholds and security checks.
• Payments are processed securely via Paystack.

6. Content Protection

We implement DRM technologies, including:

• Blocking screenshots and recordings
• Restricting external sharing or downloads

We monitor for unauthorized distribution of content.

7. Prohibited Content and Conduct

Uploading the following is strictly prohibited:

• Pornographic or explicit material
• Hate speech or abusive language
• Illegal, plagiarized, or deceptive content
• Politically inciting or destabilizing material
• Content infringing on others’ intellectual property

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or legal action.

8. Policy Updates

We may update these Terms periodically. You will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app alerts. Continued use of the platform after updates implies acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved through legal channels or arbitration as determined by Jackobian or CerebroHive.
